Fun at the Zoo!

Luke went to the zoo with some of his friends on Friday. I think he had the most fun at the park that was in the zoo! We can save some money next time by just taking him and his friends to the local park.

Longwood Gardens

John suprised me by coming home early from work on Thursday to take me to Longwood Gardens! The weather was perfect. The tulips were amazing. It was a great day! Thanks, John! Also, thanks to Nana for watching Luke.

Egg Hunt

Luke had his very own egg hunt at Nana and Pop-pop's house! We were out of town during Easter, so when we got back we celebrated with Nana and Pop-pop. It was cute, Luke's older cousins, Cailin and Erin hid his Easter eggs.

Easter at Grammy and Pappy's

The Easter visit to Grammy and Pappy's house included dying eggs with the cousins.

We had a practice egg hunt and "the real deal".

One of Luke's favorite things to do is to play in the creek. This time he actually got the whole way in the water. He even asked me if he could blow bubbles in the water!

We visited my dad and Sally over Easter. Luke had a blast there playing with all of his cousins! Here is a picture of all of them together.

toliet water?

Luke and I are in the bathroom this morning while I am getting ready for the day. He turns and says to me, "I am not going to drink the toliet water today because it is dirty." I told him that was good idea. Later, I am thinking what would make him say that? Did he try to drink the toliet water another day when he didn't think it was dirty? Gross!

Today Luke also picked up a worm today, sliced it into 2 and wanted to take it into the YMCA today so he could show his friends. What do I do with a 2 year old boy?!

Luke the Builder

Tonight Luke was helping John change his door knob on his bedroom door. He had a screwdriver in his hand and told John to "get out of the way so he could get the job done." (That is from Luke's favorite tv show, Bob the Builder.)
