Luke's Dedication

John and I dedicated Luke to the Lord last Sunday, the 9th of December. My dad and Sally came up the day before. We had a lot of fun with them. We played cards and they got to play with Luke. After the dedication at church, we went to John's parents for lunch. Heidi made one of her famous cakes! We had a great time, and are thankful for everyone who came to support us and our little guy! Our prayer is that Luke will grow up to know and love our Lord and Savior.

Thanksgiving

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving with both of our families! We spent Thanksgiving day at John's parents. We got to see his grandparents and cousins from Hershey. For some of them, it was the first time they got to meet Luke! We had a really nice dinner!

On Friday, we went to my dad's house and had another Thanksgiving dinner there. All of my family was in for the holiday. We had a great time! Joe and Tonya were there too! We were very excited to see them! They made the trip from Oklahoma. We got to stay at my dad's with them until the next Tuesday. Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures while we were there. We loved spending time with everyone, but unfortunately, everytime I leave my dad's I feel I gain a few more pounds! It must be all of Sally's good cooking.

Here are a few photos taken on Thanksgiving day at John's parents.

Oh, how they grow!

I was looking through some of our pictures and came across some of the pictures from Luke's first bath. I can't believe how much bigger he is now, and how much he has changed! It has only been a little over 4 months!

Luke and his friend

Luke enjoys watching us playing with Samson. Everytime Samson brings us back his toy, Luke laughs. Samson dosn't understand that Luke isn't big enough yet to play with him. He drops his toy on Luke's lap and excepts Luke to throw it to him! I think Luke will enjoying growing up with his big dog! Here are some pictures of the two of them together.

Andrea's baby shower

We had a shower for our good friend Andrea last Saturday. Rebecca was gracious enough to host the event. The food and fellowship were great! The theme was lambs and Christmas, since Andrea loves lambs and she is due on Christmas day! We can't wait to meet her little one!

Vacationing at Pappy's

Luke and I went to pappy's for a long weekend. We also went to Cleveland to celebrate Katie's 3rd birthday! Unfortunately, I forgot my camera for that trip. Hopefully, I can post some pictures later on from someone else's camera. Here are some pictures from the weekened at pappy's. Almost everyone got a picture with Luke! Luke loves to spend time with his cousins, aunts, uncles, pappy, and Sally.
