toliet water?

Luke and I are in the bathroom this morning while I am getting ready for the day. He turns and says to me, "I am not going to drink the toliet water today because it is dirty." I told him that was good idea. Later, I am thinking what would make him say that? Did he try to drink the toliet water another day when he didn't think it was dirty? Gross!

Today Luke also picked up a worm today, sliced it into 2 and wanted to take it into the YMCA today so he could show his friends. What do I do with a 2 year old boy?!

Luke the Builder

Tonight Luke was helping John change his door knob on his bedroom door. He had a screwdriver in his hand and told John to "get out of the way so he could get the job done." (That is from Luke's favorite tv show, Bob the Builder.)

New Names

Luke likes to call us the names that he has heard us being called recently. When he is around his cousins, he likes to call us Uncle John and Aunt Michelle. When we are at home together, we will often hear him call us both honey. We will hear something like, "Honey, can I have some milk?" I wonder if we call each other honey often?

Snow much fun!

After getting about 1 foot of snow, John, Luke and Samson go outside to enjoy it. I am not in any of the pictures because I stayed inside a warm and dry house!

I am not sure why Samson is slobbering so much. It is not like there was a big juicy steak in front of him.

Handsome?

On several occasions Luke has come to me with lipstick in his hair, eyeliner on his cheeks (I don't know where he gets that from. I am not that far off on applying make-up!) and bracelets on his wrists. He will then ask me, "mom, am I handsome?" I don't know if handsome is the word I would use!

Jumping Beans

Megan and the girls got this fun moon bounce as a Christmas present. Luke enjoyed jumping with Megan when we went over for a visit.

Megan was a little more daring than Luke. She would jump from the couch into the moon bounce face first!
