Big Boy Bed

Yesterday we got out Luke's big boy bed. He helped his daddy put it together after work. He was so excited about it that he didn't want to get out of bed. Too bad it was only 5 o'clock! Here are some pictures of him in his new car bed.

He did really well sleeping in it his first night. He didn't wake up at all until 8:45 am. When I went in there after hearing him talking, he was still in bed!

Not a doctor, football player, preacher, etc.

Luke told me he wanted to be a fireman when he grows up. He said he wants to squirt the fires with the hoses. Little does he know that he might actually have to ride in one of those big and scary firetrucks to be a firefighter.

Best Friend

Luke has been calling me his best friend lately. He isn't even asking for anything after he says it. I just don't know what to make of this!

God

Everynight before bed, Luke gets to pick out a book he wants us to read to him. The other night, he wanted to read the bible. John was telling him an old testament story of how the people loved and obeyed God. Luke stopped his dad and said, "I love God." I wish we could hear that more often!

Thanksgiving Dinner
